Seton Catholic Middle School is committed to keeping parents informed. A variety of communication methods are used to support this effort.

Seton Newsletter
This newsletter is written by the school principal and is distributed the second day of every week (usually Tuesday, but on Wednesday when there is no school on Monday). The Seton News includes a letter from the principal and briefly recaps news in several different areas such as band, faith formation, STAR and athletics. Calendars of upcoming events and important reminders about opportunities and deadlines are included.

As of Spring 2009, the newsletter is being made available to parents online. The principal sends an email with a link to the current newsletter embedded. A paper copy is sent in the weekly yellow envelope to those families without easy access to the internet. The most recent newsletter, as well as previous newsletters from the current school year can be accessed on the Seton website or by clicking HERE.

Seton Website
For current Seton families, the website contains information and reminders about events at the school, copies of school policies and required forms that can be printed out, completed and returned to the office, as well as contact information. For prospective students and their families, there is information about the school's history and culture, events and offerings. Visit www.tcces.org/seton or at Edline.net.

Weekly Envelope
An envelope containing information that cannot be supplied via the internet is sent home on the second school day of the week. The envelope is to be signed by a parent in the space provided and returned to school the next day.

Email Communications
In addition to personal emails that families may receive from school or system personnel regarding situations specific to your family, periodic emails are sent out to all SMC and/or TCCES families to alert you to exciting happenings or upcoming events and opportunities.

Food Service Updates
Correspondence regarding balances on TCCES Food Service accounts is handled via email. Questions about account balances should be directed to Anne Greif or by phoning 920-967-0107

Email Contacts
If you wish to communicate with an SMC faculty or staff member by email, the addresses are composed of the recipient's first initial and last name, followed by @tcces.org (for example Mrs. Ehler's email address is sehlers@tcces.org).

Edline
All faculty post students' grades on Edline. Parents are encouraged to check this resource periodically for trends in a student's progress.

U.S. Postal Mail
Letters regarding tuition and fees, as well as announcements of particular importance are sent by traditional mail.

Radio/Television
Watch local radio and television stations for updates on school closings due to inclement weather.

Telephone
Of course, you may contact anyone at St. Mary Central via telephone. Please dial 920-727-0279. Please make every effort to communicate with your student before school and limit phone call messages to a minimum. After one 'complementary' call, Students will be charged $.25 for every call made.
