Seton Middle School School Fundraising

Fundraising Events that Support Seton and/or TCCES

Meet Me in the Middle

In September 2008, Seton held its first Meet Me In the Middle Fundraiser. This event proved to be highly successful, both as a way to raise money for a special project for Seton that cannot be included in the regular school budget and as a way for Seton parents to gather in a casual atmosphere and get to know one another and the Seton teachers.

This year's event will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2012.

This event enjoys the success it does because of the commitment and dedication of a team of parent volunteers. This group found that the brainstorming and planning were almost as much fun as the event itself, which is saying a lot! More volunteers and fresh ideas are needed, so call the office and get involved today!

Jumbo Gumbo
In November of each year, the TCCES community gathers for Jumbo Gumbo, a casual and festive event designed to engender a sense of community and to raise funds to cover general operating expenses. For the past four years, Jumbo Gumbo has taken place at Waverly Beach in Menasha and always features the amazing sound of Vic Ferrari, led by our own Mr. Michael Bailey. In addition to the fabulous music, a variety of soups from local restaurants and as well as impressive raffle prizes (trips, big screen TVs, campers, etc.) are offered. To ensure the success of this event, each TCCES family is asked to sell a designated number of raffle tickets or make a cash donation. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend this evening of fun, faith and friends! In 2011, Jumbo Gumbo will take place on Saturday, November 12.

Zephyrfest
Each spring, St. Mary Central High School hosts Zephyrfest at the Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton. A spectacular evening of fine food, music and a dazzling array of silent and oral auction offerings, Zephyrfest helps to defray the operational costs of the high school, which in turn reduces the overall TCCES budget. This highly successful event requires the participation of more than one hundred dedicated volunteers. The 2012 date for Zephyrfest is Saturday, May 7.
