1987 State Game DVD Available
Still holding the record as the longest game in state tournament history, SMC beat Milwaukee Lutheran won in four overtimes, also a WISAA record. Get the game on DVD complete with Coach Karisny’s TV interviews and recent player interviews and recaps of the game as they remember it. DVD's are $15 each with all proceeds benefitting the SMC Hall of Fame. Please email sthelen@tcces.k12.wi.us to place your order.

SMC Patti Jakubek Memorial Cross Country Invitational-- The gun goes off at 10:00 a.m. for the boys race, with the girls race to follow. Enjoy the course firsthand by participating in the Annual Alumni and Friends Open 4K Run at 12:00 p.m. Free, with registration available onsite.
Seton’s Meet Me In The Middle -- Whether you have children currently attending Seton, kids who will be there in the upcoming years or have great memories of when your older children were there, you realize the importance of community building among school families! Join us for the third annual Meet Me In The Middle on September 24 from 7-10 p.m. at Miron Construction Company offices. Click here for registration form.
Friday September 30
SMC Service Morning and Alumni Speaker – 8:10am Dan Pier (SMC ’90) will be our featured speaker to motivate our students in leadership and service. Mr. Pier excelled in academics and athletics at SMC. After high school, he attended the University of Notre Dame graduating in 1994 with majors in English and theology. After teaching and writing for a newspaper in Chile and traveling, he earned a master’s degree in education from Harvard University. He then taught high school English and coached at Catholic high schools in Minnesota and Maryland for five years before joining the Education Development Center (EDC) where he currently serves as communications manager. Mr. Pier will join us from Maryland via a Skype connection. All are welcome to join us in the SMC Commons.
Homecoming Parade – 5:00 p.m. -- Don’t miss this homecoming favorite. Line the route from St. Mary Elementary in downtown Menasha (old St. Mary’s) as the parade make its way through Neenah’s downtown ending at SMC.
Alumni and Past SMC Parents Be Our Guests for Zephyr Football vs. Manitowoc Lutheran – 7:00 p.m. Identify yourself as an SMC Alum or SMC Past Parent and enter the game for free! Reconnect with old friends and classmates at the game! All alumni football players and cheerleaders are invited for recognition at half time of the game. Stop by the Alumni and Friends table for your free popcorn and soda voucher and to gain a free entry into a special alumni and friends raffle! Come out to cheer for this year’s team! Current record is 3-1!!
Saturday October 1
SMC Soccer Alumni Match – 10:30 a.m. (Registration begins at 10:00) Dust off the cleats and shingards and join the fun! Bring the whole family to cheer. Register by emailing Coach Kruger at krugerengineering@sbcglobal.net.
Soccer Alumni Cookout – 12:00 p.m. Just bring a dish to pass!
Varsity Boys Soccer Match-- SMC vs. North Fond du Lac – 1:00 p.m. Come and cheer on the Zephyr boys soccer team as they face North Fond du Lac. You'll be impressed by what these boys can do! All Alumni soccer players are invited for recognition at half time of the game.
Saturday October 21
St. Gabriel Elementary Brewfest -- Brewfest is the St. Gabriel PTO's main fundraiser. It's an adults-only social evening for parents and the general public held at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk in Neenah. Proceeds from the event go directly to the school for educational resources.
