World Language Honor Society
World Language students are invited to membership in the French, German or Spanish Honor Society when they have completed three semesters of a world language at St. Mary Central with a GPA of 3.25 or higher in the course, and a 3.0 GPA overall. Members are encouraged to use their language skills and to apply their knowledge in non-traditional opportunities outside the classroom.

National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is a national organization designed to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, service, leadership, and character. To qualify academically, students must have a 3.8 GPA as sophomores, 3.7 GPA as juniors, and 3.6 GPA as seniors. Nominees must be of good character and uphold principles of morality and ethics. They must also demonstrate good leadership and be involved in community service.
