A Capella Choir
The a capella choir is comprised of select group of two to ten students performing complex arrangements of pop and jazz standards. Membership is based upon audition. Students must have the instructor's consent to participate. Members are selected according to individual vocal ability.

Jazz Choir
The Vocal Jazz Choir is an offshoot of the NOW! Show Choir. Students perform jazz standards from the 1940s to the present. Membership is by audition, and students must have the instructor's consent to participate. Members are selected according to individual vocal ability.

Jazz Ensemble
The Jazz Ensemble is a premier instrumental group that performs at concerts and functions outside of school. The SMC jazz ensemble can be seen at the Fox Cities Jazz Fest, Seafood Fest, Oktoberfest and various corporate business functions throughout the year. Students perform music from the swing era up to the present, ranging from jazz to rock. Membership is by audition only, and students must be participants in the concert band (which is part of the Fine Arts curriculum) or have the instructor's consent to participate in this co-curricular group.

NOW! Show Choir
The NOW! Show Choir is an excellent vocal group that performs for school functions and outside special events. Students sing a variety of styles ranging from Broadway to jazz and rock. The NOW! Show Choir includes choreography and instrumental music in their performances. Students must be members of the concert band, Zephyr Concert Chorale, and/or Zephyr Players. If not involved with any music or theater courses, a student must have the consent of the instructor to audition for this co-curricular. Members are selected based on vocal ability and knowledge of choreography.

Yearbook
The yearbook, The Renard, serves as a memory book for St. Mary Central. Creating The Renard gives the yearbook staff an excellent opportunity to experience hands-on journalism, photography, page layout, and editing. Students use the PageMaker© and Yeartech© programs to construct layouts and visually document the school year through photography. They also learn about business as they conduct an advertising sales campaign as part of their responsibilities as members of The Renard staff. Students both enjoy and learn from creating a permanent memory of each school year for their peers.

The Zephyr Players
The Zephyr Players is St. Mary Central's ensemble of drama students. The program is for any student interested in experiencing the various aspects of theater, including acting, singing, choreography, directing, stage management, light/sound management and set building. The Zephyr Players have the opportunity to share their learned experiences and talents every fall in an in-house production and in the spring with a production either in the SMC Commons or at the Miron Theater at UW-Fox Valley. In recent years, The Zephyr Players have performed High School Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Back to the 80s and Into the Woods.

During the summer, TCCES/SMC hosts a musical theater camp for younger students. Participants enjoy sharing what they learned when they are featured in select numbers in SMC's fall production.

Fine Arts Connection
SMC Fine Arts Connection is a parent group that provides support for music and drama-related activities. The music parents' annual fruit drive helps to subsidize SMC band and choir trips and activities.

The drama parents help the SMC students to organize the performances of live theater productions and musicals. From costume management to helping with concessions, tickets and flower sales on the nights of performances, parent involvement is an important component of the success of SMC productions.
