Fundraising Events that Support TCCES

In November of each year, the TCCES community gathers for Jumbo Gumbo, a casual and festive event designed to engender a sense of community and to raise funds to cover general operating expenses. For the past four years, Jumbo Gumbo has taken place at Waverly Beach in Menasha and always features the amazing sound of Vic Ferrari, led by our own Mr. Michael Bailey.

In addition to the fabulous music, a variety of soups from local restaurants and as well as impressive raffle prizes (trips, big screen TVs, campers, etc.) are offered. To ensure the success of this event, each TCCES family is asked to sell a designated number of raffle tickets or make a cash donation. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend this evening of fun, faith and friends! In 2009, Jumbo Gumbo will take place on Saturday, November 14.

In addition to Jumbo Gumbo, each TCCES school has an annual fundraiser that benefits special projects at that facility, as well as smaller events and product sales to support particular clubs and events. See the schoolís individual web pages for details on these events.

Each spring, St. Mary Central High School hosts Zephyrfest at the Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton. A spectacular evening of fine food, music and a dazzling array of silent and oral auction offerings, Zephyrfest helps to defray the operational costs of the high school, which in turn reduces the overall TCCES budget. This highly successful event requires the participation of more than one hundred dedicated volunteers.
