St. Gabriel Parent Involvement

St. Gabriel School has a very active and supportive parent and staff organization (PTO). The organization is comprised of the entire parent and staff community. PTO promotes the spiritual, educational and physical welfare of the children of St. Gabriel School. It is the aim of the organization to bring into closer relationship the HOME, the CHURCH and the SCHOOL. The activities of PTO should be an example of the Christian community life.

PTO has monthly meetings held every third Monday of the month which are open to all. The organization provides volunteers to staff the numerous committees that help make the school an inviting educational and spiritual community.

Some activities directed by PTO include: Homestead Meadows Evening, Decorating, Hospitality, Roller Skating Party, Ice Cream Social, Movie Party, etc. There is something for every interest! The main fundraiser of the year is Brewfest. This is an off-site adult evening of food and fun. It provides the financial support to equip our school with many of the "extras" that make the curriculum come alive for our children.

Every day finds our parents serving in many capacities in the school. You may see them assisting in preparing class materials or in the office helping. We are grateful for the involvement of our families in the education of our children.
