St. Margaret Mary Academics
Twin City Catholic Educational System (TCCES) elementary schools have a firm commitment to the development and well-being of the whole child - spiritual, academic, physical and psychological.
At TCCES, we believe that God created each individual with unique and valuable gifts, and that every student should be taught in the way that he or she learns best. As a result, we have committed ourselves to the concept of differentiated instruction. Our teachers have all received special training in recognizing and addressing different learning styles and needs, and each elementary building has a teacher who has been trained as a consultant to develop individualized lesson plans and test-taking strategies. Whether a child is struggling or is able to move through material more quickly, TCCES makes every effort to provide an optimal educational experience for every child.
Recently, TCCES has begun using MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing for students in grades 4-9 to assist in assessing both individual students and entire classes, facilitating further individualization of instruction.
All TCCES faculty have earned at least a bachelors degree and are certified by the State of Wisconsin. The TCCES curriculum complies with all Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction requirements, as well as those of the Diocese of Green Bay.
